Tracy Brower

Dr. Brower is a Principal with Applied Research + Consulting at Steelcase. She is a work sociologist and author of Bring Work to Life by Bringing Life to Work: A Guide for Leaders and Organizations. She has extensive experience in human and social systems, organizational culture, organizational effectiveness, sensing, sensemaking, change management, the changing nature of work. She has over 25 years experience working with global clients to improve their processes in order to achieve business results. Tracy has taught university courses in management, HR, and organizational effectiveness. She is an executive advisor to Coda Societies, to the Michigan State University Professional Science Master Industrial Mathematics Program as well as a member of the selection committee for the Rosabeth Moss Kanter award for Excellence in Work-Family Research. In addition to her PhD in sociology and MM in organizational culture, Tracy holds a Master of Corporate Real Estate. Tracy is an award-winning speaker and her work has been featured in TEDx, The Wall Street Journal, The Globe and Mail (Canada), InsideHR (Australia) Training Magazine, The CoreNet Leader, Facility Executive, Real Estate Review Journal, Fortune.com, Forbes.com, Inc.
