Melissa is GE’s newly appointed Global Workplace Experience Strategy Leader. She oversees the development of GE’s workplace strategy program, Workplace Connect, and plays a key role in the transformation of GE’s culture. Melissa has extensive experience with organizational change. Most recently, Melissa led GE’s headquarters move from its Fairfield, Connecticut location to its new home in Boston. Her change management program was key in transitioning the GE executive leadership team and corporate organization to a new open egalitarian work environment. She attributes much of the success to a true partnership between the HR, IT and Properties functions.
Since joining GE in 1990, Melissa has worked at various GE businesses and held key leadership roles in HR and Communications. Her experience ranges from leading HR strategy for P&L’s within GE to the Senior HR Manager (SHRM) for the GE Capital Finance function to the Global SHRM for GE’s Corporate Audit Staff. Melissa also led Employee Communications for GE earlier in her career.
Melissa is a graduate from Western Connecticut State University with a degree in Business Management. In addition, over the years she has had executive level training in the HR and Facilitation disciplines. Melissa is located in GE’s Boston office.
