Daniel Fishbein

Director - Global Real Estate, CIT

As the head of Global Real Estate at CIT, Dan is responsible for strategic real estate planning, transactions management, subleasing, and lease administration for CIT locations worldwide.  This includes participation in business unit acquisitions and dispositions.

At BNY Mellon and The Rubenstein Company Dan drove the performance of over $1 billion of commercial real estate investments as he executed turn around strategies resulting in annualized returns exceeding 12% for most properties.

Mr. Fishbein headed the Real Estate and Facilities functions at The Vanguard Group, in Valley Forge, PA. as the company achieved a six fold increase in size and transitioned into a newly constructed corporate campus.  He began his career at Boston’s Economic Development Industrial Corporation rising to the position of Director, Real Estate and Planning.  Projects included the redevelopment of two military bases and industrial developments in Boston’s Southwest Corridor.

Having received a Master of City Planning degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Dan has been a member of the Zell Lurie Real Estate Center. He received his BA from Boston University. Dan has held leadership roles in CoreNet Global since 1994.  He chaired the New York City and Philadelphia Chapters and currently serves on the New York City Board.  Dan co-chaired eleven regional Symposiums and served on the global finance and chapter services committees.
